I'm being evicted!
My situation is as follows: Wednesday, I received a 5-day eviction notice. This means that on Monday, the sheriff will be here to lock me out of my home. Due to the fact of a calculated risk that seems to have failed, I have to my name, and a homeless shelter in my future.
I have applied at the two different organizations that service my area. 3 weeks ago, I started calling, and did not receive calls back. Wednesday, when I got the notice, I finally got calls back. I went in to apply yesterday. To
be able to apply for rental assistance, I had to show that I paid off all of August. I had to
borrow money to do that. The two places that I applied at said that they would call me
this morning, and as of 5:30, I had not recieved a call, and I have tried calling.
I needed to know by today, as Monday, the sheriff knocks, and I do not know what time. Now, Sunday, I will have to sell my life away, practically. I
am going to have an eviction sale at my apartment.
As I wrote, I have to my name now. Monday I will not have a place to live, and may not have shelter for a few days, until there is a space in one of the shelters. I am asking if people would be willing to donate to me, even if it is only a $1. (like spare-changing). You can send it to my paypal account (immhairi@aol.com), as it has a debit card attached to it. Even after monday, if you read this, you can still send it to me, because it will add into my card. You could send it snail mail, but Idon't know when I would get it,
and as of now, do not have a checking account to cash checks. (postal money orders I can cash at the post office).
If you wish to come to the eviction sale,
please call me. If you wish to pray for me, *PLEASE* pray for me. if you wish to help me out financially, please call or email the money. But I am hurting, depressed, and sick to death with pain over this, and if you wish to flame me over this,
*please* don't. I have proof that I am being evicted, and will scan/email upon request, as
long as I have my computer.
(The picture to the right is my son. He is not living in the home with me. He is in a school for the handicapped in Sacramento. His name is Aaron, and he is 15 years old.) |
